A UBS team in Georgia and an independent team with LPL Financial Illinois have jumped ship, adding to a busy start to 2024 broker moves.
In Atlanta, a team that produced $5.5 million in annual revenue rejoined Morgan Stanley from UBS Wealth Management USA on Thursday, according to a source familiar with their practice.
The Caliber Group, which is led by Managing Director Araya Mesfin and veteran advisors C. Michael Johnson and Michael J. Grace, had managed $700 million in client assets at UBS, the source said. The team also includes advisors Tyler Cerone, former National Football League Pro Bowl running back Ronnie G. Brown, Mary Lucy Reid and Marc Isenberg as well as client associates Molly Dunlap and Alexandra Cogswell, according to the source and registration records.
