Ampersand Partners, an upstart hybrid firm led by former Edward D. Jones & Co. and Wells Fargo Advisors executives, has reeled in an advisor from UBS Wealth Management USA near Richmond, Virginia.

Daniel G. Kleinschuster joined Ampersand on Friday in Glen Allen, according to BrokerCheck. He managed $453 million in client assets, according to Forbes, which ranked him #13 on its best-in-state wealth advisors list this year. A person close to the hiring firm said Kleinschuster�s assets had grown to $518 million since the Forbes listing.

Kleinschuster, who calls his new practice Kleinschuster Wealth, joined Ampersand with two client associates, Denise Saliga and Grace Borden, according to registration records and their firm website.
