The typical pre-weekend moves came early for Rockefeller Capital Management, which on Thursday hired a team generating $9.3 million in annual revenue from Truist Banks wealth management unit in Virginia, according to a source familiar with the move.
The Lewis Group, which managed around $2.3 billion in assets, is opening a new office for Rockefeller in Richmond, the source said. The group is led by John B. Lewis along with advisors Richard T. Blackwell, Joseph W. Bartholomew III and Kylie Roman. They moved along with support staff Lindsay Dillion, Trevor Adams, Michael Mikey Hofmeister, Catherine Elrod, Lauren Hershey and Jessica Taylor.
The team is the latest to join Rockefellers Southeast division led by Kristen Sario, a former Morgan Stanley manager who has helped ramp up recruiting since joining Rockefeller in 2022.
